My Role
Early on, I pitched design system to acquire bottom-up commitments from flagship product teams and senior leadership. Eventually with the help of many key stakeholders, we got a top-down commitment to begin work in earnest. As a member of the experience leadership team, I orchestrate the core design team that leads the effort to define and progress the design system. I drive experience strategy and creative vision by working closely with senior leadership, research, product, focus-area design, and engineering. Most of my time is spent facilitating working sessions, making decisions, resolving conflicts, and generally tying the various design efforts together.
